The Aim: 1000km (625 miles) in 31 days across the great state of Texas, what could go wrong?  Well potentially the heat, my lack of ability on a bike, maybe a rattlesnake or two, so why have I volunteered for this?

So a few years back I was given the news from my Doctor that I am in fact gluten intolerant.  It came as a surprise to me, I thought he was just going to say I'm not very tolerant in general and should show more compassion, but apparently it's just gluten, so there you go.

Absinthe is often seen as something to be avoided, as it has mistakenly received a bad reputation primarily due to a combination of it's perceived high alcohol content and its colourful history.  So I thought I'd take the time to make a case for why you SHOULD be drinking Absinthe!

It's that time of year again!  A time when we can all take a walk on the wild side, and of course indulge your friends a little that are far to into Halloween (You know who I mean).  Personally, I figure it's a great excuse to get creative and get making drinks that you might not attempt every week and I'm all up for that.

I love the flavour of American Whiskey, and make a lot of cocktails with American Whiskey as a base; never mind my own recipes history has already given us greats such as the Old Fashioned, the Whiskey Sour, the Manhattan and the Boulevardier.
