This cocktail shows the versatility of aged Tequila

Quality Tequila (i.e 100% Agave Tequila) really isn't the fire water many people know from the cheap shots that have been poured for years, this drink proves just how good some of it can be.

How to make a Anejo Manhattan cocktail at home

Ingredients

  • 45ml Anejo Tequila
  • 15ml Sweet Vermouth
  • 5ml Vanilla Liqueur
  • 1 Dash of Angostura Bitters
  • 1 Dash of Orange Bitters
  • Garnish - A Stemmed cherry

Instructions

  • Fill a mixing glass with ice
  • Pour in the ingredients in the order listed
  • Stir for 30 seconds
  • Fine strain into a chilled cocktail (martini) glass
  • Add the garnish
