French Connection

And absolutely no Gene Hackman anywhere in sight?
So in fact not a 1970's movie, but actually a nice after dinner drink that combines Cognac and Grand Marnier, both of which are of course from France (Terribly clever!).
How to make a French Connection cocktail at home
Ingredients
- 25ml Cognac (Preferably VSOP)
- 25ml Grand Marnier
- Garnish - Orange zest
Instructions
- Pour all the ingredients into an ice filled glass in the order listed
- Squeeze the orange zest over the surface of the drink and then add to the glass
Andy's Top Tip - Don't forget the orange zest it really brings out the dry orange notes in the Grand Marnier
