French Polynesian Martini

Andy says...

The lovechild of a Singapore Sling & French Martini

A classic Singapore Sling combines Gin, Cointreau, benedictine, and a whole list of other stuff, a French Martini uses vodka and chambord; and they both share pineapple juice.  My drink here combines a little bit of both and also throws in some rum to give it a Tiki feel.

How to make a French Polynesian Martini cocktail at home

Ingredients

  • 25ml Gin
  • 15ml Chambord
  • 10ml Wrey & Nephew Overproof White Rum
  • 25ml Pineapple Juice (As fresh as possible!)
  • Garnish - Pineapple Leaf

Instructions

  • Pour all of the ingredients into a cocktail shaker
  • Fill with ice and shake vigorously (you will need to shake it hard to get the pineapple juice to froth, it's easier the fresher / the higher the quality the juice is)
  • Double strain into a chilled cocktail (martini) glass
  • Add the garnish
