From the book "Tiki: Modern Tropical Cocktails" by Shannon Mustipher

An excellent blend of refreshing Rhum Agricole (made in the French Caribbean from sugar cane juice not molasses) and the bitter undertone of Suze (French bitter-sweet aperitif flavoured with gentian).

How to make a Tour le Carbet cocktail at home


  • 60ml Rhum Agricole
  • 20ml Velvet Falernum Liqueur
  • 20ml Fresh Lime Juice
  • 15ml Suze Aperitif
  • Garnish - Lime Wheel


  • Pour all of the ingredients into a cocktail shaker
  • Fill with ice and shake
  • Double strain into a chilled coupe glass
  • Add the garnish
  • Job done!
