A wonderful forgotten cocktail from Ted Haigh's book "Vintage Cocktails"

Basically a spin-off of a Daiquiri, but the addition of the Falernum and a hint of Cointreau really work.

How to make a Royal Bermuda Yacht Club Cocktail cocktail at home


  • 60ml Gold Rum
  • 10ml Falernum Liqueur
  • 5ml Cointreau 
  • 20ml Fresh Lime Juice
  • Garnish - Lime Wedge


  • Pour all of the ingredients into a cocktail shaker
  • Fill with ice
  • Shake and double strain into a chilled coupe glass
  • Add the garnish
  • And Bob's your Auntie's husband!
