One of the great American cocktails, an absolute classic!
How to make a Whiskey Sour cocktail at home
Ingredients
- 45ml Whiskey (Preferably Bourbon)
- 45ml Fresh Lemon Juice
- 15ml Sugar Syrup
- 15ml Egg White
- 1 Dash Angostura Bitters
- Garnish - 3 Drops of Aromatic Bitters (A maraschino cherry is optional too)
Instructions
- Pour all the ingredients into a shaker and dry shake (without ice) to emulsify the egg white
- Add ice and shake again (wet shake)
- Strain into a cocktail (martini) glass
- Add the drops of bitters on the top
- Drop the cherry in the glass if you're adding one
