How to make a Gin Basil Smash cocktail at home


  • 60ml Gin
  • 2 Large Sprigs of Fresh Basil
  • 30ml Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 15ml Sugar Syrup
  • Garnish - Another Sprig of Basil!


  • Place 2 large sprigs of fresh basil into an empty shaker
  • Crush it with a muddler or rolling pin
  • Pour in the gin, lemon & sugar
  • Add ice and shake
  • Double strain into an ice-filled rocks glass
  • Add extra basil to garnish
  • Enjoy refreshment!
