A cocktail for lovers of American Whiskey
How to make a Manhattan cocktail at home
Ingredients
- 1 Dash of Angostura Bitters
- 1 Dash of Orange Bitters (Optional)
- 15ml Sweet Vermouth
- 45ml Bourbon (or American Rye Whiskey)
- Garnish - A Maraschino Cherry
Instructions
- Fill a mixing glass with ice
- Pour in the ingredients in the order listed (The bitters first so they are washed into the drink by the other ingredients)
- Stir for 30 seconds
- Fine strain into a chilled cocktail (martini) glass
- Pop the garnish in the glass
