The cocktail created by James Bond, seemingly on the spot, in Casino Royale
I spy with my little eye...
In one famous scene from the Bond story Casino Royale, James has the bartender mix him a cocktail by announcing the ingredients across the bar. He later names it after his beautiful female counterpart Vesper Lynd.
How to make a Vesper Martini cocktail at home
Ingredients
- 60ml Gin
- 20ml Vodka
- 10ml Kina Lillet Dry Aperitif (Substitute Dry Vermouth and save yourself the hassle)
- Garnished with a twist of lemon peel
Instructions
- Shaken and not stirred obviously, but it is still double strained into a chilled cocktail (martini) glass
- Garnish with a twist of lemon peel
