The cocktail that sits between the Manhattan and the Dry Martini
Effectively this cocktail can be viewed as a Gin Manhattan, or as a Dry Martini with sweet vermouth instead of dry.
How to make a Martinez cocktail at home
Ingredients
- 25ml Gin
- 5ml Maraschino Liqueur
- 50ml Sweet Vermouth
- 2 Dashes Orange Bitters
- Garnish - Orange Zest
Instructions
- Stir all of the ingredients in an ice-filled mixing glass
- Fine strain into a chilled cocktail (martini) glass or coupe
- Squeeze the orange zest over the drink and then place in the glass
