Created for American graphic artist Charles Dana Gibson

Effectively a Dry Martini garnished with pearl onion

Named after American graphic artist Charles Dana Gibson.  The pearl onions are reputed to be his favoured garnish for a drink of this kind, others claim the onions are in reference to his love of drawing female characters.
