Pisco Sour (Straight Up)

This is the way I like my Pisco Sour, straight up, no ice.

This cocktail uses Pisco, the traditional grape brandy produced in Peru and Chile.

How to make a Pisco Sour (Straight Up) cocktail at home

Ingredients

  • 60ml Pisco
  • 45ml Fresh Lime Juice
  • 15ml Sugar Syrup
  • 15ml Egg White
  • Garnish - 3 Dashes of Angostura bitters

Instructions

  • Pour all the ingredients into a shake
  • Fill with ice and shake
  • Fine strain into a goblet or coupe glass
  • Carefully add 3 drops of Angostura bitters on the surface

Andy's Top Tip - I like my sours really sour, so you may wish to experiment adding 5-10ml extra sugar syrup and see how you like it best.
