I'd give this cocktail 10 out of 10, it's pretty much my favourite drink

An incredible variation on the classic Dry Martini.  This cocktail uses pink grapefruit to highlight the fresh fruit used in the making of Tanqueray Ten gin, a truly remarkable spirit.

How to make a Perfect Ten cocktail at home

Ingredients

  • 65ml Tanqueray Ten Gin
  • 10ml Dry Vermouth
  • Garnish - A zest of pink grapefruit

Instructions

  • Fill a mixing glass with ice
  • Pour the vermouth over the ice trying to cover as much ice as possible
  • Stir 6 times with a spoon
  • Strain out the excess liquid and discard, leaving the ice in the mixing glass
  • Pour in the spirit (Preferably directly from the freezer)
  • Stir for 30 seconds
  • Fine strain into a chilled cocktail (martini) glass
  • Squeeze the pink grapefruit zest over the surface of the drink and then place it in the glass
