Created by my mate Wayne Collins and it's a cracker!

An inspired combination of ingredients this, and it really works when they all come together, well worth a try.

How to make a Chocolate Sidecar cocktail at home

Ingredients

  • 20ml Cognac
  • 20ml Dark Creme de Cacao
  • 20ml Ruby Port
  • 20ml Fresh Lime Juice
  • 10ml Sugar Syrup
  • Garnish - A Grated chocolate rim on the glass

Instructions

  • Pour all of the ingredients into a cocktail shaker
  • Fill with ice and shake
  • Fine strain into a chilled cocktail (martini) glass with a grated chocolate coated rim

Andy's Top Tip - Take a pre-chilled glass and roll the edge in sugar syrup, wipe of any excess, and then roll the edge of the glass in a saucer containing a combination of chocolate powder and freshly grated chocolate.  Again I recommend only coating half of the glass.
