I once had to instruct a bartender I know via email how to make a chocolate martini, as Eddie Murphy was on the yacht they worked on and said he was a huge fan of this cocktail - Surely stories don't get more random than that?

How to make a Chocolate Martini cocktail at home

Ingredients

  • 45ml Vodka
  • 20ml Creme de Cacao Blanc
  • Garnish - A half chocolate rim on the glass

Instructions

  • Dip half of a pre-chilled cocktail (martini) glass into sugar syrup and wipe of any excess
  • Roll the outside of the glass in a saucer of chocolate powder
  • Fill a mixing glass with ice
  • Pour in the ingredients
  • Stir for 30 seconds
  • Fine strain into your pre-garnished glass

Andy's Top Tip - Mix fresh grated chocolate in with the chocolate powder for more texture and a more luxurious taste
