This cocktail became famous after the main character (The Dude) from the movie The Big Lebowski made it his favourite drink, and is often also referred to as a caucasian. I'm not afraid to admit i love these things, a truly awesome drink.
How to make a White Russian cocktail at home
Ingredients
- 30ml Vodka
- 30ml Kahlua (other coffee liqueurs are available)
- 30ml Double Cream
- Garnish - None
Instructions
Traditionally these ingredients would all be thrown straight into a glass with ice, however...
Andy's Top Tip - Create two layers to this drink (and combine the cream more effectively) here's how...
- Pour the Kahlua into an ice-filled rocks glass
- Pour the vodka and cream into a cocktail shaker
- Fill with ice and shake
- Now carefully pour the mixture on top of the kahlua, using the ice in the glass to slow the flow of liquid as it enters the glass
