Dale's Planters Punch

I'm not a fan of changing the recipe of classic cocktails, however I believe this to be a much more interesting drink
Dale DeGroff's re-working of the classic Planter's Punch is worthy of attention
How to make a Dale's Planters Punch cocktail at home
Ingredients
- 20ml Dark Rum
- 20ml Bacardi
- 15ml Orange Curacao (Cointreau can be used in a pinch)
- 15ml Fresh Lime Juice
- 60ml Orange Juice
- 60ml Pineapple Juice
- 10ml Sugar Syrup
- 10ml Grenadine
- 2 Dashes of Angostura Bitters
- Garnish - An orange wedge and a stemmed cherry
Instructions
- Pour all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker
- Fill with ice and shake
- Strain into an ice-filled highball glass
- Add the garnish
