A cracking cocktail this, with lovely notes of honey, ginger and spice

How to make a Penicillin cocktail at home

Ingredients

  • 3 Fresh Ginger Slices (Size of a UK 10p coin or US Quarter)
  • 60ml Blended Scotch
  • 25ml Honey Syrup
  • 25ml Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 10ml Islay SIngle Malt Scotch Whisky (Float)
  • Garnish - 3 Candied Ginger Pieces on a Stick

Instructions

  • Muddle the fresh ginger in the base of a shaker
  • Pour the Blended Scotch, lemon juice & honey syrup into the shaker
  • Fill with ice and shake
  • Strain into a rocks glass
  • Carefully float the single malt on top
  • Then add the garnish
  • Enjoy!
